Workshop: Functional Analysis of Sequence Variants in Hereditary Breast- and Ovarian Cancer Genes
The main aim of this workshop is to improve genetic counselling by using functional assays for germline variant
classification. In addition, we will focus on novel HBOC tumour suppressor biology, and the translational consequences of HBOC gene variants for the development of optimal treatment strategies. The invited speakers are leading experts in these fields and include medical doctors, geneticists, and basic or translational researchers.
Apart from the three-day workshop for which we will select around 50 researchers and clinicians, we have made a separate registration option for the clinically oriented session on May 31st. This session will be open to a larger audience and does not require abstract submission. Please see the poster and preliminary program, including meeting synopsis.
